Brad Petersen Band is a mix of classic country and americana music for your listening and dancing pleasure honoring the music of Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings and other legends. California native Brad Petersen has had a love for music his entire life. He grew up in a family where music was always around. He learned to play guitar at a young age and began his lifelong journey as a musician. On the inside cover of his CD "Second Chances,"Brad shares many pictures of his family and talks about their contributions to his music. In fact, Brad's "family of music" extended past those genetically linked. As a teenager, Brad would meet and become friends with Noel Haggard, one of Merle haggard's sons, where he would also come to know the country music legend himself and spend time with his family. Brad has opened for artist like Lacy J. Dalton, Johnny Lee, Ben and Noel Haggard, and many others. Brad recorded a CD in 2018 called "Second Chances". He had many guest musicians on it including a couple of members of Merle Haggard's band. Brad also hosts a Saturday live music / interview show on FM 90.1 KZFR Chico.
